Will there be a patch released once the supports are finished? Incremental patches are very popular and reflect better on a translation than "hold-all-the-pie" tactics.

Yeah, there are ways, I just don't have a Mac and can't really support any of them, so Mac users are on their own. That's the fault of Mac users, I discriminate against them, I hate Max... I mean Macs...

- I think people who are upset about this are being a little... *cough* no offense, but silly and maybe butthurt. There are SO many positives to this. First of all, we're getting downloadable content, which is better than not getting it. Well, assuming it comes to the U.S. Second of all, the game is going to be advertised as the first game to have paid DLC content, giving it more attention, which the series direly needs. Third, we're getting a new effing Fire Emblem. IN 3D. With what seems like cool characters (with voice acting), graphics (3D, animations that look better than PoR at the least--they took my interest, that's for sure), gameplay (duel battles, skills, world map) and story (has supports and it's not a sequel, so we're FINALLY getting a TRULY new game).

There are so many positives that paying a little money for DLC content which will probably be fun is just a small nuisance. And hey, we'll be supporting a series that needs just that--support--and games are going to be like this from now on anyway, so it just means FE is becoming more modernized. :\

Well anyway that's my opinion so while you may disagree I cannot comprehend how a Fire Emblem fan could be so disappointed just because the DLC content now requires money... and you're free to explain it to me but I don't think I'll EVER understand. And no I'm not rich, I spend like $100 on video games a year on average, including systems. So yeah, that's all I have to say on the matter. Sorry for the rant. XD

I have a mac and I'm perfectly able to patch roms with something called MultiPatch, I think.
Either way, there are ways to do it. Silly people.

Yeah, 50% means with the base convos. Though we're roughly (and this is a totally "off-the-top-of-my-head" statistic, so don't quote me on it) 50% done with graphical text too (we've figured most of it out but we haven't necessarily had the graphics worked on due to a lack of a graphics artist at the moment), so I'm guessing by spring time we should mostly have the main dialog to work with (i.e. everything but the main script should be finished, and the main script should be in progress). This is just a little guessing around to calm the masses about having to know every little bit of progress, if I really was sure of anything I'd be posting about it ._.
