Progress Page Updated

On behalf of Vincent who apparently didn't feel it needed a post, he updated the progress pagethat I've been meaning to update and was just about to. Check it out.

What is an update?

A miserable little pile of base translations. (Namely, prologue, prelude, map openings, character endings, everyone's conditions and death quotes.)

Just thought I'd let you guys know Agromono and I are still working.

Base conversations - translation complete

It isn't my intention to overshadow Blazer's post, but... translation news.

As the title says, the basic translation of the eight base conversation files has been finished. Our localizers are already working on them so they'll be more presentable and coherent with Shadow Dragon's US version - after all, we know that a good translation doesn't need to just be accurate, it needs to look accurate.

Now, what to translate next...

Preventing Another Translation

I realize there are many flaws with this concept and it may sound silly, but I do not want to see another Fire Emblem be fan-translated like FE12 is. Ever. Again.

Thus I will be brief: a petition has been setup to support this idea--and support the series. This goes without saying but every signature matters, so don't whine, just sign, and everything will be fine--trolls, we don't want your kind, Japan, stop leaving us behind, with FE12 we wish we could rewind, and got some action time, for what didn't get localized, but now's our time to rise, and who knows, we might get some high-fives--but at the very least, we'll strengthen our ties, to new highs, so don't make "why"s, just sign.

Base conversation progress 4

While I was sitting around lazily minding my own business, TheEnd mentioned how the base conversations are now 75% complete (translation-wise). So without further ado, I think it's about time to post some more progress.

By the way, a little behind-the-scenes gossip, a certain somebody suggested that they might try their hand at translating more than just the base conversations. Dude, that's already a lot of text you've translated, but I can't exactly say "no" to the help!

New Year, new story & base progress

Happy New Year! I've been meaning to post some progress earlier, but I've been carried away with the festive season and some side projects I've been working on.

As TheEnd mentioned, base conversation progress is now over the 50% mark. That's no mere feat, given that there are 366 conversations in total, so thanks to TheEnd for working on this task!

Additionally, progress on the main story is going steadily and Prologue 5 has now been completed, thanks to Agromono.

The localisation team has also been busy working behind the scenes, with over 20 files proof read at the time of writing. I don't believe these Heroes of Shadows have made their names known, but they are Illumio, Martze, Pandorakun, Ryan and Vi!
