In chapter 13 it talks about a mountain being over five thousand meters. This was going for an English translation. Shouldn't it be miles? I don't care really, but using English measurements would look more official.
Firstly, meters are an appropriate measurement (5km = 5000 m = 3.1 miles).
Secondly, do you REALIZE what you just said about changing 5000 meters to 5000 miles?! 5000 miles is 1609 times larger than the original length of 5000 meters.... also there is nothing ON Earth that's 5000 miles in the sky and thus it'd be very non-official to say such a thing in an official translation.
(And if they really scaled a mountain 5000 mi high, they'd be in space and dead ...)
fun fact~ the atmosphere of our planet is only about 500km thick, but you start needing supplemental oxygen about 6-7km up - i.e. while climbing something along the lines of Mt. Everest.
so basically 5000 miles is way into outer space
also, you can't even argue that they might have a different sort of planet to Earth since an overly thick atmosphere would either mean a huge gas giant planet that would be uninhabitable due to various sciency reasons i don't feel like elaborating on here of all places, or venus like conditions on a massive terrestrial planet (whereupon the pressure of all that gas would mean that human like life would be pretty damn unlikely anyway).

:) Any list of Action Replay cheats that are compatible with this patch? Because I used to be able to use the "Press R for Max Stats" cheat but now it glitches up the game horribly XD
Excuse me, i have a problem, is about the upper part and the dialogue, they not apper, they get freeze in the face of Marth and the dialogue of the characters not appear when talking, i use de No$GBA, if someone cuold tell me how to solve this problem i will thank that very much

I can confirm this is the case in Event Recap too. I tried to check if this was the case in the Japanese version, but my DS ran out of battery the moment I got to event recap, and I can't find the charger...
During the introduction, the last sentence from the letter reads "...supressing the Grustian rebellion." The word "supressing" is misspelled and should be "suppressing" instead.
you see when you're talking with someone you can press the R button to view the conversation log in the bottom screen. however i see a lot of dialogues that missing letters... you can notice it even more if the word is long.
you're doing such a great job already so i think this is not much of a problem, since people doesn't look the log that much. so thanks a lot for your work!
Around Chapter 5 and 6 of the game, I cant access the top half of the map at all during a battle. Is this a problem with the patch or a emulator error.

DeleteWe translated all the Japanese graphics, so it's hardly surprising if some graphics have bugs we didn't notice.
The Defense staff is misspelled. It has a "c" instead of an "s".
ReplyDeleteI believe "defence" is the UK spelling. Which is, admittedly, still wrong if the devs wanted to stick with US spelling.
DeleteWhen Marth dies before Caeda is recruited, Caeda appears after Marth's death quote, like the one in Shadow Dragon. Happened to me in Chapter 3x.

Tried running this on a flashcart but during gameplay it just freezes on me. Running newest 3.01 patch.

ReplyDeleteEverything seems to work fine until a battle starts. The map is being really tricky and my characters can barely move at all.
ReplyDeletesometimes when i move, i can't move upwards, i can move left to right and downwards, i have to always start over to get rid of that bug
