No trolling this time around, as I've already posted my farewells; however, I figured a weekly update would be just fair. Besides, the previous post already has way too many replies.
The current scoreboard is roughly like this:
"I've finished my run" - 2 people
"I'll finish until Monday" - 2 people
"I'm still halfway through" -
"I just started and I keep running into game-breaking glitches what is this" -
Names withheld to protect the innocent.
No, we don't have any news about the release date; it still should be out this month. Have a good day.

ReplyDeleteHe's not, Blazer is loved by pretty much everyone in the community. Then again I can probably say that for every member of the team after all the hard work and effort they are putting in. Blazer is just very busy and quite possibly is running into a ton of bugs for some reason, that's [s]probably[/s] not his fault and doesn't mean people dislike him :P.

ReplyDeleteFE4 is my personal favorite, FE12 would be my 2nd or 3rd. (I haven't played Awakening, though.)
DeleteSince FE4 is very different from the rest of the series, it isn't easy to compare them.

DeleteOkay, I did Catria's A in my first playthrough with a male MU, and I don't remember any romantic implications at all. She basically just talks about her unrequited love for Marth. I could be wrong though, it was about 2 years ago.

DeleteOkay...so I am a few chapters away from beating Thracia 776. Having played 1-4 and 6-11, I am almost caught up. I am working on completing Thracia so I can get started on FE12 and then onwards to FE13. Just so you know, with this translation patch, you are making this fan very very happy. Thank you, all of you. Sincerely.
ReplyDeleteThracia was my least favorite IMO. Story was scarce, characters were underdeveloped and cheap mechanics and fake difficulty make too many strategies depend purely on luck. It's pretty much impossible to beat it without a death (unless using save states).

Thracia is Thracia. If you do your homework a little, you can maximize your efficiency. There are a lot of great resources out there to make your non-save state play through work with no casualties. Or just play on Elite Mode and stomp the game. There are plenty of dudes on your team that can own pretty much any situation once buffed with Elite.
DeletePlus I thought that Fatigue was an interesting twist on the series. But even that can be thwarted with S items. As for the rewarping Dark Mages, they can go fall in a well.
I managed to recruit Xavier, but was 2 armors shy of getting the member card. So, I came out of that notorious part unscathed. Onwards to Chapter 19!!!
But again, I am not a language snob, but as someone who has very little free time, I don't want to spend it staring at characters I can't read. I would like to enjoy the games in my native language of English to get the full effect. So with you guys translating 12 and NOA/NOE translating FE13, I am all set!!
